The Other Line – Audio Guestbook Policy

Setup Instructions & Responsibility

The Client is responsible for correctly setting up the audio guestbook upon receipt. The Other Line (TOL) will NOT issue any refund if the phone returns with no recorded messages due to improper setup, including but not limited to:

  • Loose or improperly connected wires

  • Failure to plug the unit into a working power source

  • Failure to follow provided setup instructions

Please ensure the device is fully assembled, powered, and tested before your event begins.


Payment & Deposit

Upon booking, 50% of the total payment is considered a non-refundable deposit. This deposit secures your rental date and is not eligible for refund under any circumstances.


Date Change Policy

Requests to change the event date must be made at least 30 days prior to the original event date.

  • All date changes are subject to availability and will require a new Service Contract.

  • If the alternate date is unavailable, the Client’s deposit will be forfeited and the rental canceled.


Return Shipping Requirements

The audio guestbook must be shipped back to the return address provided by TOL within 1–2 business days after the event date.

  • If return shipment is delayed, a $30 per-day late fee will be charged to the card on file.

  • All outstanding fees must be paid before TOL will release any audio from the Client’s event.


Agreement

By renting from The Other Line, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the above policies, including setup responsibility, non-refundable deposit, date-change terms, and return requirements.
